NOEL GALLAGHER branded brother LIAM a “f***ing moron” after quitting OASIS for good – then took a swipe at Liam’s new fashion label.

Guitarist and songwriter Noel walked out of the band on Friday night after one final nasty backstage fight at the Rock en Seine in Paris.

He told a pal later that night: “They say never work with children and animals. No one mentioned f***ing morons though, did they?”

“I think all that modelling malarkey has gone to his head. It’s a pleasure to give him time and space to work on his autumn/winter collection.”

Noel headed back to London soon after Friday night’s bust-up and has kept his head down at home ever since.

But frontman Liam – who recently started his new clothes label, Pretty Green – has been treating the aftermath as one big holiday. And he’s relieved it’s all over too.

The singer headed to Lake Como in Italy on Saturday with wife NICOLE APPLETON, Oasis bass player ANDY BELL and his girlfriend.

Clearly, Andy is taking Liam’s side in the split.

Yesterday, Liam and Nicole looked very happy and were kissing and cuddling as they messed about on the water.

It’s a shame it all had to end this way, but Noel has found the last year on the road with Liam pure hell.

A source told me: “Liam has been drinking heavily for the duration of the tour and regularly got very abusive and personal. He has taunted Noel’s girlfriend, Sara, other band members and the crew. People have been frightened to go near him. He is one very angry man who needs to sort his issues out.”

The long-simmering tension came to a head backstage in Paris when Liam – who was unaccompanied – turned up for the show completely drunk.

He had taken the Eurostar on his own to Paris and arrived… steaming.

I’ve heard he’d been on a bender for days since pulling out of the V Festival a week ago.

Noel was disappointed that no one from management or security had the guts to challenge Liam’s drinking.

So he confronted Liam about being unprofessional.

But Liam exploded in rage and started saying horrendous things about Noel’s kids.

Liam hurled his acoustic guitar at Noel. It was a gift from his missus Nicole and had a personal message on it.

Noel then stamped on the guitar, smashing it into pieces and walked out – never to return.

Maybe that moment will go down in music history as a fitting end, with the band being so driven by the brothers’ conflict.

Let’s face it. There was never going to be a fairytale ending with this pair walking towards the sunshiiiine together.

Oasis will never split, according to Liam Gallagher’s sister-in-law.

Natalie Appleton told the Mirror: “Oasis will die before they split up… they’re going to go on for ever until they are old men.” There had been reports that the rockers were about to call it a day after they pulled out of their V festival gig on Sunday.

The last-minute cancellation was blamed on Liam’s “viral laryngitis” but there have been rumours that the constant infighting between him and brother Noel had finally taken its toll.

But Natalie, 36, whose sister Nicole is married to the Oasis frontman, scoffed: “The rumours are absolute rubbish. Even in his sick bed Liam was vowing to get back on stage. We were all hoping to go down to V together but sadly it didn’t happen.”

“The guys were so devastated. Liam watched from his sick bed.”

Snow Patrol filled Oasis’s headline slot at the festival in Chelmsford and covered some of their tunes, along with Keane.

Speaking at Frankie’s restaurant in Knightsbridge at the launch of Adee Phelan’s Fabulous Haircare, Natalie added: “Liam was so happy Snow Patrol and Keane sang some of their songs. He thought that was brilliant.”

Unter Gallaghers Geschenken soll eine seltene Schallplatte mit Elvis-Songs aus Deutschland sein sowie eine andere Aufnahme, auf der Diana Ross den Song «Imagine» von Gallaghers Idol John Lennon singt.

Valentine wedding for singer and long-term girlfriend in London

Oasis singer Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton got married in London this morning (February 14) in a secret ceremony.

The ceremony was so secret even Gallagher’s brother and band-mate, Noel Gallagher, was not aware of the ceremony.

The newly-wedded couple are celebrating in London’s Landmark Hotel tonight, reports Holy Moly.

The couple had been together for eight years and have a seven year-old son, Gene. Congratulations to Liam and Nicole from everyone at NME.

Liam hat geheiratet

Am Valentinstag gab sich der Oasis-Sänger mit Nicole Appleton das Ja-Wort. Bei einer sehr geheimen Zeremonie im Westminster Register Office – nicht einmal Bruder Noel wusste davon – heirateten die beiden. Am Abend sollte dann in einem Londoner Hotel gefeiert werden.

Überraschend ist die Hochzeit nicht wirklich: Liam und Nicole sind seit acht Jahren ein Paar, haben einen gemeinsamen, sieben Jahre alten Sohn.

Liam Gallagher to be first guest on chat show

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is to be the first guest on a new talk show fronted by two members of All Saints.

‘The Hot Desk’ will feature Gallagher’s partner Nicole Appleton and Melanie Blatt interviewing people in a new talk show that is a made-for-mobile production.

The show will also feature Dave Berry and Emma Griffiths “interviewing celebrity friends and contacts at movie premieres, parties, launches and backstage at gigs”.

The first interviews will be made available on the ITV mobile site today (November 15) and include an interview with Gallagher on London’s Hampstead Heath, along with interviews with Stereophonics, The Twang and Fightstar, reports The Guardian.

A close friend seems to think they did…

Yesterday, our invaluable Daily Ligger brought you the news that Liam Gallagher might be gearing up to get hitched to his girlfriend Nicole Appleton.

But today’s red tops, feeding off a remark made by Sara Cox on her radio show yesterday, reveal that that info might be wrong – and they could in fact be wedded in holy matrimony already.

“Congratulations to Liam and Nicole,” Coxy said to a few million listeners. “They got spliced at the weekend. They did it with no one around. I’m really happy for them.”

Interesting. Expect close-up shots in the rags of Liam and Nicole’s wedding fingers with large arrows and circles on them soon, then.

Liam Gallagher and ex-All Saint Nicole Appleton are to marry in London later this month. The couple have been dating for seven years and have a six-year-old son, Gene. The Oasis frontman said he has always planned to tie the knot with Appleton, but wanted to focus on raising their child first.

According to UK newspaper the Daily Express the couple are due to exchange vows in Marylebone, London on 26 October.

Gallagher divorced actress Patsy Kensit in 2000 after three years. Appleton has never been married.

OASIS coughed up £348,000 to sacked drummer ALAN WHITE.

NOEL and LIAM told the sticksman to beat it in 2004, after nine years with the band.

The huge pay-off, revealed in newly released accounts, was made to keep the furious drummer sweet and buy him out of the lads’ company Definitely Maybe.

At the time, frontman Liam said the axe fell because Alan chose his missus over the band.

He said: “Turns out he’s hanging out with his bird in Spain. Once the word bird and Spain are mentioned together it’s like, OK, Oasis vs girlfriend.”

Some Might Say that sounds a tad hypocritical from the bloke who cancelled a gig after a tiff with his brother!

Still, it’s not like the Gallaghers can’t afford huge pay-offs to sacked band members every now and then.

And it looked like Liam was spending big on Friday too, when he went shopping in London’s Bond Street with girlfriend NICOLE APPLETON. The pair visited posh jewellers Tiffany & Co. Do I sense a wedding in the air? They are not saying. Or maybe Liam bought a Mother’s Day trinket for Nic. Whatever, I bet it cost a pretty penny.

Alan may consider he’s got a few quid now too ? but he may Look Back In Anger . . .

That £348,000 doesn’t come close to the amount previous drummer TONY McCARROLL was paid when axed in 1995.

Tony had threatened to sue the band for ?18 MILLION in lost royalties. He eventually walked away with £550,000.

The recently released company accounts show Alan’s pay-off and payments of £300,000 to Liam and Noel meant Definitely Maybe, their touring and merchandising company, made a loss of £948,383 in 2005.

Fortunately Liam and Noel’s company Big Brother Recordings is the main cash cow.

They’re still rolling in it, as well as with it.

Oasis star involved in paparazzi scuffle

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has been caught on camera swinging at a snapping photographer whilst swearing profusely at him.

ITV news footage of the incident has since been posted on Youtube.com.

The incident took place in Primrose Hill on February 21 as Gallagher was out with All Saints singer and girlfriend Nicole Appleton and five year-old son Gene.

The photographer in question claims he was standing five metres away from the star when the attack took place.
